Hawksmoor Seven Dials Review

Posted on    Other

Hidden jewels are often the best type to own, so too are hidden restaurants and their award winning menus. This is especially true for the Hawksmoor steakhouse and cocktail bar. Nestled between Covent Garden and Seven Dials one can be sure its location though demure couldn’t be more intentional. As you enter the large unassuming black doors and make your way down the staircase you can’t help but feel as if you’re entering an establishment James Bond would have appreciated. It is clear by the dim lighting and high tables with vintage lamps how equally important the overall aesthetic is in proving why exceptional taste is not limited to food and wine. The steakhouse offers the best of British meats and promises all meat is dry-aged for 35 days. If you’re unsure on what to choose on the menu the friendly and well versed staff are more than able to explain the origin, cut and variety of each item on the menu. The remarkable time I had as I dined in solitude proved class (and great service) is always preferred over mass. I tried the Canterbury Cooler cocktail and the Rub a- Snub- Snub. Perfect for a guy’s night out or an intimate date with your special partner you will not be disappointed. Remember, we told you so!

Don’t miss The award-winning Sunday Lunch between noon and 4:30 p.m.

Location 11 Langley St, City of Westminster, London WC2H 9JG

Warning As the establishment does not have an alcohol license you will have to order a meal or a snack when ordering a cocktail. Try their famed hot dog if you don’t want to break the bank. Reasonable priced at just 10 pounds and served with delectable sautéed onions. You can’t go wrong.
